OPTION 1

Harajuku: Meiji Shrine

We will visit Meiji Shrine, a peaceful shinto shrine surrounded by forest in the middle of downtown Tokyo. I will tell you about the customs and traditions that are practiced here.

Harajuku: Takeshita Street

Afterwards, we’ll stroll along Takeshita Street, famous for its eccentric desserts, colorful clothes, and animal cafes.

Public Transportation

We will take the subway to explore different parts of town. We'll go through how to find the route and navigate your way through the complex yet efficient transportation system. By the end of the tour, I'm sure you will be more comfortable navigating on your own!

Shibuya: Shibuya Crossing, 

Shibuya is known for the iconic Shibuya Scramble, the world’s busiest pedestrian crossing. Nearby, we’ll see the famous Hachiko statue and explore the streets filled with shops and restaurants.

Tsukiji Outer Market

Tsukiji was once the world's largest wholesale seafood market known for its tuna auctions until 2018 when the market moved to another location. Today, it still serves as home to a number of stalls that sell fresh seafood and beef skewers that attract enormous crowds everyday.

Asakusa

Asakusa is home to Senso-ji, Tokyo’s oldest temple. We’ll experience local customs and traditions that are practiced here. We’ll also stroll along Nakamise Shopping Street, a lively street with traditional snacks, crafts, and souvenirs.
